Era8 — pharmacy management software

The problem

A pharmacy keeps many things in the air at once: hundreds of products, batches and expiry dates, suppliers, invoices, and the rules around electronic invoicing. Run on paper or a spreadsheet, nobody knows a batch is about to expire until someone checks.

What the product does

Era8 puts those jobs in one place:

• Selling at the counter: pick the medicine, convert units, apply a discount, print the invoice.
• Purchasing: goods receipts by supplier, with batch number and expiry recorded as they arrive.
• Stock and expiry warnings: know which batch is close to expiring before it does.
• Electronic invoices and sales reporting.

Who uses it

Pharmacies and dispensaries — where one person sells, receives stock and answers customers. The software has to be faster than what they already do, or it is just one more job.
